Wheels and Tires

I really like the factory-style 15x8 Rally wheels. They have timeless style, and the chrome trim rings and hub cover look right at home on almost any vintage Chevrolet. But since Ginger isn't going the stock route, I wanted her to stand out from the crowd of rally-wheeled, fat-tired Corvette's with something more unique. 

I went with an 18x8.5" wheel from American Muscle, the 143 Torque in gunmetal with a polished lip, wrapped in 255/45-18 Nitto NT555 G2 tires. The overall diameter of this wheel and tire package is the same overall diameter of the wheel and tire combination that Ginger left the factory with, so her speedometer reads correctly. I had these same tires on my 1990 ZR-1, and the amount of grip they have is amazing. I've been pretty impressed with the Nitto brand over the years for car and truck tires.
