If the styling of the 1967 4-4-2 seems familiar, look up pictures of the Pontiac GTO in the same year model. They share a family resemblance, mainly from the door handles up. The roof buttresses provide a handsome side profile for both cars, and the boxy design is striking.Â
This particular example wears Burgundy Mist, which instantly became my favorite color. The paint is beautiful, with only a couple blemishes which can only be discovered on close inspection. There wasn't much for me to do here, except add some more wax on top of wax and then stand back and sigh as spring pollen fell on everything like dust.
