Drivetrain

I bought a 440 big block with a 727 3-speed automatic transmission. It came out of a 1973 Chrysler Town and Country wagon and I bought it for a very specific reason. To see if it would fit.  I decided a Dodge drivetrain was the only good choice for Dusty. I really want the big block sound, so I will work hard to get it to fit. There will be challenges with the steering column and hood for starters, but my goal is to make it look like it was put there by the factory, with no body modifications. This particular engine rotates and would be a good candidate for a rebuild, but its not the one I will be using. For now it will be an inexpensive test bed for fitment testing. I am working on this truck on the side, since it's one I actually want to keep for myself. Who am I kidding...I want to keep all of them. This one, however, I am really trying hard to hold onto, so the work and expense I put into it will be in between lots of other projects.
